She was born May 14, 1942 in Detroit, MI to Ralph and Carol (Lott) Lehr. In 1967 she married James Barr in Lake Forest, IL.
Kim worked for many years as a Sales Manager for Max Factor at Marshall Fields in Downtown Chicago. She had been a resident of Hawthorne Woods and then of McHenry County since 1970. She and her husband split their time between Sarasota and Wonder Lake. Kim loved her horses and going to horse shows.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her daughter, Laura (Sherman) Harper; her granddaughter, Emma; and her siblings, Ralph (Sally) Lehr and Jeannie Schramm.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, June 25 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5006 E Wonder Lake Rd, Wonder Lake, IL 60097.
