Donald A. Kivi

He was born November 11, 1932 in Chicago to Thomas and Helen (Sheridan) Kivi. On November 9, 1957 he married Donna Padden in Chicago.

Donald was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He retired from Illinois Bell after 32 years of service. He was a proud man. He was an avid bowler and fisherman.

He is survived by his children, David Kivi, Danny (Tammy) Kivi, and Dana (Matt) Appner; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Janae, Levi, Rachel, Amanda, Neil, Adeline, Nathan, and Carla; his four great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ray (Judy) Kivi.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; his daughter, Diana Opperman; his parents; and his brother, Tom Kivi.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Tuesday, January 13 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The visitation will continue from 10 to 11am on Wednesday, January 14 at the funeral home. The service will be at 11am.

Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
