Edith M. Meadows

She was born May 21, 1925, in Alva, Oklahoma to Walter Arthur and Hanna Mae (Curtis) Thorne.

She was very active member of the First Pentecostal Church in Wichita. She also worked up until March for many years at the Meridian Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was a woman who touched many lives.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Diane) Sidders, Charles (Janice) Thomas, Elgin Thomas, Ivonna Sue (Leon) Potter, Linna Bowman, Gregory (Patti) Bowman, Mark Bowman, T.J. (Terri) Meadows, and Lisa (Mark) Lashbrook; 29 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Shelly Beth Meadows; and her granddaughter, Angie.

The family will greet friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service, on Saturday, May 22, at the First Pentecostal Church, 1755 E. MacArthur Rd., Wichita, KS 67216.

Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery, Wichita.
