Emily Grace Maxwell

Emily Grace Maxwell, 26, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away on February 3rd, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 18th,1999, in Rockford, IL, she will be remembered for her infectious laugh and vibrant smile that lit up every room she walked into. She led her life with strength, love, and compassion, inspiring each person she knew to follow in her footsteps.

One of Emily’s biggest joys was being surrounded by many pets throughout her childhood and young adult life. After graduating from Woodstock High School in 2017, she continued her education at Fox Valley Technical College, studying to be a veterinary technician. Working closely with animals everyday, in any and every capacity she could, was what brought immense purpose and happiness to her life.

She is survived by her loving parents, Kim Maxwell and Emily Moore, her fiancé Eric Iannelli, and many beloved friends and family members who will miss her every day.

A celebration of Emily’s life will be held on Thursday, February 12th, 2026 from 3-7pm at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL.
