

He was born April 10, 1919 in Chicago to Frank and Jennie (Bucowsky) Polerecky. Frank served in the United States Army Air Force during WWII. He was awarded with several ribbons and medals for his service, including the Philippine Republic Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon which he proudly wore to this day.
Frank enjoyed camping and boating. He also loved to travel and especially loved to go on cruises. When Frank wasn’t working he kept busy by either woodworking or another hobby of jewelry making. A particular specialty for him were his handcrafted bolo ties.
Frank is survived by his children, Susan Bastet, Roger (Paula) Polerecky, and Jeffrey (Sandy) Polerecky; his grandchildren, Eric (Kate), Adam (Kristin), Amy (Mike), Daniel (Jill), Ross (Amanda), Elizabeth, Cindy (Jeff) Polster, and Kevin (Jennifer) Mall; his great-grandchildren, Ava, Harlow, Anna, Gemma, Vinny, Remy, Mia, Ethan, Travis, Nicholas, Colleen, Bevin, Erin, and Theo on the way; his nephew, Robert (Susie) Polerecky; his nieces, Linda (Paul) Bartels and Joan Pofelski; and his grand-niece and nephew, Cheryl and Harry Polerecky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; his parents; his siblings, Mary, Margaret, Olga, Amelia, Lud, Anne, and Joe; and his nephews, Harry Polerecky and Lud Polerecky.
Interment will take place privately at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
