James Patrick O'Hagan

James Patrick O’Hagan, 30, of Waterford, Wisconsin formerly of Crystal Lake died suddenly on Friday, June 27, 2014. He was born June 11, 1984 in Elk Grove Village to Terence and Marian (Howe) O’Hagan. He was a student of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee getting ready for his last semester, his goal was to work in special education. He volunteered for Big Brothers in Racine, Wi.

In high school, he was an all-around athlete and played many sports. He loved spending time with his girlfriend Meaghan Cotter. He was an avid Blackhawks fan, enjoyed hockey, watching ESPN, fishing, camping, dancing, reading and helped his parents around the house. He was a friend to everyone, had a great sense of humor and was always joking and laughing.

He was a loving son of Terence and Marian (Howe) O’Hagan; beloved boyfriend of Meaghan Cotter; beloved brother of Tom (Alissa), Dan (Shanon), Katie (Justen), Kim, Bob (Brittany); loving uncle of Toms’ son Kellan Patrick, Bobs’ son Jameson McIntire, Dans’ children Kendall Joyce, Colin Thomas and Quinn Patrick; grandson of the late Terence and Nell O’Hagan, the late Thomas and Delle Howe.

Visitation will be from 2-9 pm on Thurs, July 3 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Fri, July 4 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in his name to Pioneer Center, 4001 W. Dayton St. McHenry, IL. 60050.
