He stayed very active enjoying fishing, gardening, walking his dog, feeding the ducks and anything that took him outdoors. He was a handyman who did everything around the house including building birdhouses. He was friendly, sociable, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed vacationing at the cabin in Wisconsin and loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Janina Borowski, daughters; Adriana, Diana and Linda Borowski, sisters; Urszala (Mitch) Tomaszwski, Mirka Borowski, Ela (Mirek) Tomaszwski and his mother Elenora Borowski.
He is preceded in death by his father Witold Borowski.
Visitation will be from 4-9 pm on Wed., March 6th at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Funeral service will be at 10 am on Thur., March 7th at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard St. Algonquin. Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
