Johnnie Taylor Morrison

Morrison, Johnnie T., 88, resident of Rowlett, TX, died on August 7, 2018. He was born February 28, 1930, Johnnie was the son of Benjamin and Allie (Glisson) Morrison. He was a resident of Dundee, IL, when he married his beloved wife, Emma Timm Johnson on March 15, 1975. At that time, he worked at Hills McKenna in Dundee and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, in Elgin, IL. Johnnie's greatest passion was the love for the Lord and his family, then came baseball; especially when it came to the Cubs.

Johnnie is survived by 3 step-children: Donna (George) Travis, Robert (Mary) Johnson and Carla (Clarence) Moreland. Johnnie had 22 grand-children and 37 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; parents, Benjamin and Allie; sisters, Robbie Datsko and Caroline; brothers Elbert, Luther, Herman, Lamar, Elmer, and Jerry; half-sisters, Leona, Dorothy and Ruth; half -brothers, Woodrow and Jack Morrison; and a step-daughter, Linda (William) Medelberg.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 25, 2018, 11 a.m. at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Burial will be at the McHenry County Memorial Park, 11301 Lake (Rt. 14), in Woodstock, IL, following the services.
