Justin Javier Blanco

He was born July 26, 1989 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras to Javier and Tricia (Klein) Blanco.

Justin was raised in Honduras until his family moved to Crystal Lake in 2000. He was very proud of his Honduran-American heritage. Justin was a 2008 graduate of Prairie Ridge High School. He also worked at The Cottage in Crystal Lake.

Justin was a gentle soul who always had a smile on his face. He had a big heart and was devoted to his family and friends. He was a genuine person and a loyal friend. He was an animal lover who enjoyed being outdoors and a good adventure.

He is the beloved son of Tricia Blanco; the loving brother of Joseph Blanco and Jordan Blanco; and cherished grandson of Don & Rosemary Klein and Laura Blanco. Justin is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in Honduras and the United States.

He was preceded in death by his father, Javier Blanco; his abuelo, Jose Blanco; his uncle, Joe Klein; his aunt, Theresa Klein; and his tio, Carlos Blanco.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8pm on Wednesday, August 13, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. There will be a memorial service at 7pm.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to establish a fund in Justin’s name.
