

Lois Ann Egoroff, 89, of East Dundee, passed away October 5, surrounded by her family. Born January 18, 1926 in Rutland Township, Huntley; she was the daughter of Frank Albert and Anna Marie (Dumoulin) Fischbach III. She married Walter Egoroff on June 26, 1948 at First Congregational Church in Dundee.
A graduate of Dundee High School, Lois was a member of First Congregational Church, Elks Club of Sun City Arizona and the Lois International Club. She was a former employee of the Elgin Watch Factory where she made torpedoes during WWII. She was also employed with district U46, serving as secretary to the director of art education, registrar for Streamwood High School, and later as secretary for the central office personnel department.
A great storyteller of family events, Lois was an avid Chicago Bulls and Cubs fan. She enjoyed horseback riding, decorating wedding cakes and most of all spending time with her grandchildren of whom she was very proud.
Survivors include her daughters, Suzanne Egoroff, Cindy (David) Alexander and Stacey (Terry) Vance; grandchildren, Dr. Christopher (Jennifer Addison-Jones) Onken, Kevin Onken, Nicholas Alexander, Jonathon Alexander, Adam Vance and Anna Vance; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband; siblings, Vera Swanson, Erma Ream, Ione “Nook” Wendt, Ralph, Floyd “Tag”, Elmer “Barney”, Alvin “Doll” and Frank Albert Fischbach IV.
A reception in honor of Lois will be held at 1 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at First Congregational Church, 900 South Eighth Street, West Dundee.
