Margaret "Marggi" Ann Green

She was born October 28, 1947 in Cheyenne, WY to William and Beatrice "Betty" Henry.

After graduating with a Masters from Southern Illinois University she went on to work as a food scientist for several different companies including Keebler, Nestle, Jackson Seafood Company, and C.H. Guenther in San Antonio, TX. Prior to working corporately, she had a catering company she ran out of her home and a stained glass company.

Marggi is survived by her husband, Richard Green; her son, Cody (Amanda) Walstrom; her granddaughter, Leighton; her step-children, Stacy (Tim) McCaffrey and Amy (Ryan) Passaglia; her step-grandchildren, Collin, Carson, Lauren, Derek, and Kailyn; her siblings, Bill (Betty) Henry, Jimmy (Carol) Henry and Elly Pendarvis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Donna Stejfkal.

There will be a gathering from 4 to 8pm on Friday, September 17 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
