Peggy Anne Marino, 49, of Crystal Lake died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Centegra Hospital – McHenry. She was born March 2, 1963 in Chicago to Eugene and Marie Marino. On December 26, 1992 she married Charlie Poppell in Chicago.
She is survived by her husband Charlie; her son Riley; daughter Gia; parents Eugene and Marie Marino; siblings, Jeanne (the late David) Dalgety, Richard “Dick” (Janis) Marino, Elizabeth "Betty" (Gavin) Maliska, James "Jim"(Karen) Marino, Connie (John) Tyrrell, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be from 3-9 pm on Wed, March 14 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Memorial service will be at 10:30 am on Thurs, March 15, at The Dole Mansion, 401 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake in the Sage Gallery. Cremation rites to be accorded.
In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted to the Riley and Gia Poppell scholarship fund at Crystal Lake Citibank.
