She was born October 17, 1945 in Elgin to Robert and Charlene (Hansen) Antcliff.
Sandy loved judging cats, having traveled around the country to do it. Her grandchildren also meant the world to her. Time spent with them was precious, whether it was watching her granddaughter dance, her grandson play baseball, or listening to her older grandsons tell her stories. For many years she loved going to plays with her best friend.
She is survived by her son, John (Meshal) Idstein; her grandchildren, Kyle, Korey, Karly, and Dylan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a memorial gathering on Monday, November 2 from 5 to 7pm at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Due to current restrictions, everyone attending is required to wear a mask and practice safe social distancing while inside the funeral home.
