Steven Daniel Brown

Steven Daniel Brown, 22, of Crystal Lake, passed on to rest with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by the love of family and friends, February 7, 2016. He leaves behind his parents, Ken & Maria, his brother Richard (Heather), his nephews Colton & Caden and his niece Leah, his Uncle Rich (Cristina) Brown, and cousins Chris, Brian, Bobbie, Mooshie and Aria.

Steven was loved beyond words, by more than he knew. He was an exceptional child, doing everything early, from walking at 9 months, to riding a bike perfectly, the first time he tried. He played baseball throughout his childhood, and into high school, and had a killer pitching arm. He loved being at home with his parents as a boy. He loved going for car rides and getting lost. He loved animals and they loved him. He had a kind heart and a great sense of humor. And frequently filled our DVR with romantic comedies. And when he left, he took our hearts with him.

Steven's visitation will be held at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. 60014, on Friday, February 12th, from 4 until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at First Congregational Church, 461 Pierson St. Crystal Lake, IL, 60014 Saturday, February 13th, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be directed to www.amirf.org or www.the-other-side.org Online condolences may be submitted at querhammerandflagg.com
