Mr. Alfred Gerald Brown

Funeral Services for Mr. Alfred Gerald Brown, age 80 of Cullman, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Etha Baptist Cemetery, with Rev. Stanley Kilgore officiating.

Mr. Brown was born in Cullman on August 27, 1933 to the late Arthur Conrad and Eva Jessie Lamberth Brown, Sr. He passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his residence. He was in the U.S. Air Force and the Air Force Reserve. Alfred worked 30 years at Hays Aircraft / Pemco in Birmingham, and was a hard worker and loved to be outdoors. Mr. Brown was a avid gardener and cattle rancher.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include his Wife of 53 years – Dorothy Veal Brown; one Daughter – Kay Brown Dupree; one Son – David Keith Brown; two 2 – Sisters – Louise Taylor & Marie Jones; one Brother – Charles Brown; and a Host of Nieces & Nephews.

The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 5:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
