Mrs. Audrey A. Ward of Decatur Alabama passed away on June 7, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital at the age of 81. She was born in Cullman Alabama on May 9, 1934 to Aubrey James and Agatha Christina Murphy Persall. She is preceded in death by her husband: U.H. “Hyman” Ward.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Jones Chapel Church of Christ at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. Nikki Pressnell officiating. Mrs. Ward will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Chances Crossroads Cemetery.
Survivors are: Daughters: Loretta (Phil) Clark of Decatur, Inga (Pat) Sherrill of Hanceville, Sons: Tom Ward of Niceville, Fl., Aubrey (Debbie) Ward of Yorba Linda, Ca., Sisters: Sybil Williams of Jones Chapel, Esther (Richard) Clapp of Jones Chapel, Brothers: Jim (Carolyn) Persall of Santa Clara, Ca., Carl (Jean) Persall of Athens, David Persall of Greenville, S.C., Five Grandsons and Three Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Moss Funeral Home from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
