Billy Joe York

He is survived by his wife: Mary Jo Burnham York, his son: Dan York, granddaughters: Natalie York (Jason) Tielking and Leslie York (Clint) Hollingsworth, and great grandchildren: Loren Tielking, Wyatt Tielking, Caroline Hollingsworth, Eliza Hollingsworth, Clementine Hollingsworth, Nelson Hollingsworth and a host of family an friends.

Mr. York was an Auburn graduate and was formerly employed with The State of Alabama Department of Education and a longtime member of Cullman First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Cullman First Baptist Church with Revs. Sam Hollis, Tom Whatley and Kevin Wilburn officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Cullman First Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Thursday.
