Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Speegle McCluskey, age 91 of Cullman, will be held Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Sonny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow at Valley Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. McCluskey passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at Hanceville Nursging Home. She was born on November 18, 1919 in Cullman to the late Joe and Florence Bell Vickery Speegle. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Ivan McCluskey; two sister, Mary Sue Burgess and Bertha Vickery; and six brothers, Jorace Speegle, Julian Dale Speegle, Joe Speegle, Jr., J.W. Speegle, Sherrell Speegle and Norman Ray Speegle.

Survivors include, five daughters, Bonnie Eloise Self, Vivian Louise Graves, Iva Ernestine Young, Virginia Leigh Teague and Glenda Sue Boatright; seven sons, Gilbert Dale McCluskey, Thomas Ivan McCluskey, Jr; Dannie Joe McCluskey, John Rayburn McCluskey, Larry Wayne McCluskey, Kenneth McCluskey and Dalton Keith McCluskey; two sisters, Frances Speegle Phillips and Barbara Speegle Tubbs; 26 Grandchildren; 43 Great-Grandchildren and 19 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. unil 9:00 p.m.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Hanceville Nursing and Rehab and to Southern Care Hospice for their compassion and care during the illness of our mother.
