Missing you so badly today. Casey always asks what his Uncle Casey is doing in heaven right now. He wants to know if we can come see you or if you are having a party. I tell him if I know you, there is definitely a party going on. Not a day goes by that I don't miss you or wish I could call and tell you something that I remembered from our childhood or ask you about a song lyric. I know you're around me, I can feel it. I love you so much and will rejoice when we meet again. But until then, keep practicing those diddies for all of heaven to hear.

Casey, I remember so many things about you from that sheepish shy grin when you were a little boy, to the beautiful grin as a grown man. But what I remember most is you kind and loving heart that you had for your family and friends. I remember the day I heard of your passing, I was at work, my first thought was....it has to be another Casey Byrams, not my Casey! Then as I realized it was you, my heart was broken for Charlotte, Paul, Stevie Jo and your other half Lacy! It was broken for me also, because I loved you so much! Your mom and I and you kids and mine had some great times, they are and always will be precious memories! I can think back to our Trick or Treat night, and I will laugh out loud! That night was priceless! The great times we had at your pool, you were a blessing child! Until I see you again, you keep strumming your guitar, and singing for the Father in Paradise. ❤ I love you Casey ALWAYS!!!!

Your mother has touched my life and I hers. She misses you. I feel it in her energy when she talks about you. She was a mom who loved her child  and wanted the best for him..chill for a bit.. she'll  be around directly ( time is relative....may be quite a few earth years, a blink of an eye from your perspective )

Charlotte, I am so saddened by your loss. I can feel your pain. I lost my own son on Oct. 4, 2009. One of my favorite memories involved Casey, when he and Lacy were in my 7th or 8th grade classroom at Addison. Sometime when you feel like talking, give me a call, and I will tell you about it. He was a sweet kid. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.

At 7:20 this morning, I received the worst news in my life. I was at work when my wife called me with the terrible news. She told me that Casey passed away.
This hit me terribly hard. He was like a big brother to me. Looked out for me, kept me out of trouble, and showed me that a person can have fun anywhere at anytime. Even when he was down at his worst he always tried to put a smile on everyone's face. On my worst day in my worst mood, even when I didn't want to, he could always make me laugh. It was impossible not to.
 His view on life was this, "If I can make person (even a complete stranger I'll never see again) smile, laugh, or feel better about themselves it just makes my day. He would go out of his absolute way just to make a person feel at ease or make an awkward situation better.
 I miss him, I really miss him a lot. Because of him I am a Crimson Tide fan(Roll Tide!!). I know that he is up in heaven playing his guitar to Jesus. I love you Byrams, life is a little bit sadder without you man.
