He was born January 3, 1933 to Ezra and Inez Goolsby Skinner. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles worked in radio and television ultimately retiring from WVTM TV in Birmingham.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Hightower Skinner; daughter, Rita (David) King, of Rainbow City; grandchildren: Brian (Stephanie) King of Cookeville, Tn., and Laura (Blake) Mayo of Rainbow City; and great grandchildren: Paxtin King, Hannah, Libby and Ben Mayo.
At. Mr. Skinner’s request there will be no funeral.
