Christine Morton Kessler of Cullman passed away on December 13, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born in Cullman on February 14, 1926 to James and Nannie Jane Collier Morton. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward John Kessler and her parents. Mrs. Kessler was the owner of Simcoe Cloth Shop for 35 years.
Funeral services are Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Richter officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.
Survivors are: daughter Karen (Dave) Hassell, grandchildren Sonya (Christian) Holcomb, Daniel (Jenna) Hassell, Great Granddaughter Mary Kessler Holcomb and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Friday from 9 am until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Johns Evangelical Church building fund.
