Funeral services for Delbert Larry Woody, 84, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Billy Wooten officiating. Burial will be in Indiana.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Woody died Monday, Aug. 8, in Winston County. He was born Dec. 20, 1926, in Alabama to Hastings and Lila Roberts Woody. He was a combustion engineering machinist and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruthie Woody; and a son, Michael Woody.
Survivors include four sons, James Woody, Gerald (Lanita) Woody, Timothy Woody and Jeffrey (Chastity) Woody; four daughters, Judy (Ken) Glass, Kathie (Dean) Noble, Jeanette Lucka and Linda (Terry) Cornell; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
