Mr. Edward Eugene Runge

Funeral Services for Mr. Edward Eugene Runge, age 77 of Vinemont, will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jamie McMinn, Rev. Vernon Willis, Rev. Frank Wood and Rev. Glenn Runge officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Mr. Runge passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1933 in Morgan County to the late, Clarence Rufus Runge and Eunice Opal Wood Runge.

Edward was a member of New Ground Baptist Church, an Ordained Minister, had served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict; and was Co-Owner in the Runge Corporation in Birmingham.

Survivors include his Wife of 50 ½ Years – Bobbie Goodwin Runge; Son – Glenn Allen Runge; Daughter-in-Law – Susan Runge; one Granddaughter – Lily Renee Runge; two 2 – Grandsons – Kurt Runge and Stephen Runge; a Host of Brother & Sister–in-laws.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
