Freddie was born May 16, 1941 in Bug Tussell, AL to Lee Roy and Mary Ethel Myers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law, Jimmy England, and his siblings - Dover Myers, Bobbie Nell Price and Jackie Harbison and an infant sister Jane Myers.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Carolyn Walker Myers, his three daughters - Letitia England, Cindy Myers and Shelley Stewart, his grandchildren Jacob (Paige) Stewart and Maggie Stewart, and 1 Great-Grandchild, Asher Stewart. He leaves behind a host of family and friends that was blessed to have known him.
Freddie was a dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great-Grandfather. Everything he did, he did with an abundance of love. And if you were indescribably lucky enough to know him, you would know that no one loved like him. Freddie spent a large portion of his life gardening. He had to care and tend to many different types of fruits and vegetables – all with incredibly different needs. He knew when and where to plant everything and exactly how much water and pruning everything needed. That is how Freddie J. Myers loved. He loved you exactly how you needed to be loved. He always had a white handkerchief in his pocket to wipe your tears. He always had a tight hug waiting for you. And those he loved he regarded with an immense amount of pride; the same way we will always regard him.
