Mr. George Kenneth Chambers of Cullman passed away on February 15, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital at the age of 73. He was born in Cullman on June 11, 1943 to George Washington and Lonie Mae Pope Chambers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Son: Howard Kirk Chambers and Brother: Bobby Dean Chambers. Mr. Chambers worked for Bellsouth for 33 years and he also served in The United States Air Force for 4 years and 3 months.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Larry Duke officiating. Interment will be in Flint Creek Cemetery.
Survivors are: Wife: Bobbie Chambers, Sons: Scottie Kell (Dawn O.) Chambers, Toby (Joell) Chambers, Cary Kip (Dawn A.) Chambers, Sister: Mary Sue Eubanks, six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Moss Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Kevin Turner Foundation.
