Hayward J Murphy, age 87, of Baileyton, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was born in Texas to Mearday M. and Era Etta Hewton Murphy on June 13, 1938.

He was known for for being a very kind man, and his love for Little Debbie Snack Cakes. Hayward served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran.

Mr. Murphy is survived by his daughter Stephanie Murphy; his grandchildren Casondra McDuffie & Cadence McKinley and his great grandchildren Finn & Easton McDuffie.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Kim Nethery.
