Inez Parker Steele

Inez Steele, the most loving Christian, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and friend died December 25, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lela Chamblee Parker, Husband: Carlton Steele, Daughter: Gail Parker, Grandson: Jeremiah Steele, 3 Sisters and 9 Brothers and loved each one equally as she did everyone. She will be missed and mourned by all that knew her. Inez was a member of South Cullman Church of Christ and is survived by her Church family and a son: Jack Steele, Grandson: Britt (April) Caple, Granddaughter: Tanya (Wayne) Cornelius, 2 Great Grandsons: Conner and Carson Caple and one Great Granddaughter: Summer Cornelius, four special nieces: Annette (Mike) Creest, Minnie (Ronnie) Heaton, Serena (Larry) Hullet and Lisa (Steve) McSwain and her best friend Martha (Larry) Weaver that have assisted with her care and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Inez was a foster grandparent for 16 years at Cullman Middle School. She was also very active in the Cullman Chapter of The Alabama Blind Association and appreciates all they did in helping with her sight. We would especially like to thank Hospice of CRMC of Cullman County for all of their help during her illness. A special thanks to Melissa Edge, Jenny Henderson and Tracey Kimbrough for all of their help. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. We should all take comfort knowing that our friend, mother, mawmaw and aunt is rejoicing in heaven now. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Holt, Bro. Bill Cavender and Bro. Jim Deason officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday December 27, 2010 from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Randy Parris, James Metcalf, Ronnie Heaton, Mike Creest, Steve McSwain and Larry Hullet; Honorary Pallbearers will be, Hubert Earl Gilbert and Tim Loveless.
