Funeral services for Irene Wilma Haymon, 81, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Terry and Perry Haymon officiating, with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Haymon died Tuesday, Dec. 21, at her residence. She was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., to Ira Gaston and Lola Velma Yeager Haymon. She was retired as administrative assistant with the Department of Defense.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Bobby Haymon.
Survivors include a sister, Betty (Brent) Hamner; a brother, Ray (Shirley) Haymon; five nieces, Pam, Sherry, Rhoda, Renee and Jan; six nephews, Elton, Dale, Terry, Warren, Jeff and Perry; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one’s favorite charity.
