Mr. Jackie Don Gilliland of Hanceville Alabama passed away on August 2, 2013 at his residence at the age of 66. He was born in Blount County on April 11, 1947 to William B. and Ruth Mae Dollar Gilliland. He was a veteran of The United States Army and was in The Alabama National Guard for many years.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Greg Wilbanks officiating. Interment will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery in Eva Alabama.
Survivors are: Wife: Pat Gilliland of Hanceville, 3 Daughters: Jackie (Jamie) Swindoll of Hanceville, Jennifer (Shannon) Childres of Fairview and Angela (Chris) Trivette of Hanceville, 4 Sisters: Doris Henderson of Eva, Jean Johnson of Hayden, Ruby Henderson of Sommerville and Pat Tumlin of Palmerdale, 2 Brothers: John Gilliland of Detroit, Mi., Billy Gilland of Hayden, 8 Grandchildren: Sarah Ryan, Connor Swindoll, Caleb Cornett, Kiley Trivette, Karli Trivette, Jaci Trivette, Memphis Stover and Baby Childers.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Moss Funeral from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
