Janette Bright Putman

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earney Gwyn Bright; parents: Oscar W. and Eliska Louise Richter Grissom; brother, James Monroe Grissom; and great granddaughter: Maggie Grant

Janette is survived by her daughters: Eliska Lorene “Lori” (Rob) Luckhard and Sherri Leanna Bright (Todd Thornton); son, Jason Alan Bright (Tina); brothers: George (Alwayne) Grissom and David (Judy) Grissom; sister-in-law, Brenda Grissom; grandchildren: Victor Grant, Lexi Bright, Aleena (Jake) Amaro, and Kehl Bright; great grandchildren: Kyle Grant, Eli Grant and Nyx Vinson and a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 28 from 12:00 noon until the celebration of Mrs. Putman’s life which will begin at 2:00 PM in Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Janette was a faithful member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church, serving in Women on Mission and being a servant wherever God called her.
