Mr. Jimmy Wayne Brown

Memorial Services for Mr. Jimmy Wayne Brown, age 63 of Hanceville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Daystar Church, with Ben Murray & Matt Carmichael officiating.

Mr. Brown was born in Tullahoma, TN on April 6, 1950 to the late Count Henry & Willie Blanche Baker Brown. Jimmy was a member at Daystar Church, and very active in the “Foundation” and the “Masters Hands” ministries. He was a truck driver for 35 years, ending his career at McGriff in Cullman. Mr. Brown loved his family and dancing was a favorite pastime, and bowling, being in the Cullman Bowling League.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John Henry Brown and Carter Brown.

Survivors include his Wife – Karen “Nece” Courtney Brown; Son – John (Sue) Metcalfe; Sister – Doris (Michael) Yeager; several Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren; and a Host of Nieces & Nephews.

The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins at Daystar Church.
