Funeral services for Valera Joan Kilpatrick, 65, of Cullman will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Randy Smith officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kilpatrick died Monday, March 22, at her residence. She was born March 11, 1945, to Albert Grady and Alma Jewel Self Hendrix. She was an office manager.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Junior Hendrix, J.C. Hendrix, Jettie Hendrix, Jack Hendrix and Jerry Hendrix.

Survivors include two sons, Vic (Tonia) Cofer and Alan Cofer, both of Cullman; a daughter, Tammy (Joel) Atchison of Littleton, Colo.; two sisters, Janett Locklar of New Orleans, La., and Joyce Wood of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren, Stacy Pesola, Jamie Borseth, Josh Cofer, Brandy Borden, Hanah Cofer, Michelle, Tia and Levi Montgomery and Samantha and Cooper Atchison; and seven great-granchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
