Mrs. Katie Tucker Tucker White

Funeral services for Katie Tucker White, 85, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Edwin Hayes and Pastor Tom Richter officiating, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. White died Monday, Feb. 6, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 31, 1926, to Arthur and Vera McAfee Tucker. She was a retired office worker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman. She loved to participate in the grandparents’ program at East Elementary School. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Herschel White; and her brother, Robert Tucker.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Johnson and Paula Dobson; two sons-in-law, Bo Johnson and Charlie Dobson; a brother, Dwight (Brenda) Tucker; a sister-in-law, Shirley Tucker; two grandchildren, Jackie (Tom) Richter, Carrie (fiancé Jonathan Aultman) Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Katie Richter and Carson Richter.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
