Mr. Larry Joe Simmons of Vinemont, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He was born March 9, 1948 to Price Doc and Mary Irene Brown Simmons which preceded him in death along with his sister: Shirley McKoy and brother: Hubert Simmons.

Mr. Simmons leaves the cherish his memory his wife: Shirley Faye Wix; daughters: Tina Carroll, Sandra Brown, April Whitehead, Betty Tucker, Sherry Echols and Brenda (Darrell) Waldrop; son: Eddie Yates; sisters: Gail (Dalton) Hooper and Patsy (Leroy) Jones; brothers: Charles Edward (Sherrie) Simmons and Hoyt Simmons; and several dearly loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Simmons will be Sunday from 10 - 1 pm with a celebration of his life to follow. Interment will be after the services at Springhill cemetery.
