Mr. Levie “Ed” Dyess Jr. of Cullman Alabama passed away on March 21, 2013 at Shadescrest Health Care Center in Jasper at the age of 78. He was born on February 13, 1935 in Homewood Alabama to Levie Edward Sr. and Velma R. Davis Dyess.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Clennon Shedd officiating. Interment will be in Gardendale Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Carol silvers Dyess, 1 Son: Steve Dyess, 1 Daughter: Cheryl Carmack, 6 Grandchildren: Daniel and Joey Dyess, Holly, Jessica, Jesse and Melody Carmack, 2 Great Grandchildren: Alexis and Anna Marie Dyess.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Moss Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 Noon.
