Mrs. Martha H. Hammack Palfrey

Martha Hammack Palfrey went to be with her Savior, December 24, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert Palfrey, Sr.; three 3 – Children – Marci (Jerry) Jacob, Robert (Judy) Palfrey, Jr. and Doug Palfrey; two 2 – Grandchildren – Mark (Christi) Jacob and Wes Palfrey; four 4 – Great-Grandchildren – Alex Jacob, Austin Palfrey, Cooper Jacob and Hunter Palfrey; one Sister – Minnie Lee Moore.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Drew Brown and Mary Ann Hammack; three brothers, Leon Hammack, Pete Hammack and Marlin Hammack; three sisters, Ethel Humphries, Willie Belle Pace and Annie Grace Russell; and one grandchild, Paige Palfrey.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Roselawn Funeral Home of Decatur and Moss-Service Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 305 Arnold Street, N.E. Cullman, Al on Thursday, December 27, 2012 with the celebration of her life beginning at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Bob Blackwell officiating. The graveside service will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 709 Danville Road, S.W. Decatur, AL immediately following the memorial service.

The family is very grateful for the wonderful care provided by the staff of Asera Hospice of Decatur, including Donna, Becky and Dawn, as well as Anita.
