Mary Jo Speegle

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jo Speegle of Cullman Alabama will be on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jerry Cole and Dr. Edwin Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Speegle died Wednesday October 2, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Lawrenceburg Tn. on March 28, 1931 to Joe and Mary Lee Quattlebaum. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman. She worked at Porter Mills/Oneita Knitting Mills for 33 years and retired as a quality control supervisor. She also worked as a teacher aide at the Cullman County Child Development Center for 12 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Wendell Speegle.

Survivors include: Daughter: Judy (Bob) Shannon, Grandson: Chad (Misty) Shannon, two great grandchildren: Haley Elizabeth Shannon and Wendell (Wynn) Scott Shannon. Two Brothers: Bob (Katherine) Quattlebaum and Jerome (Phyllis) Quattlebaum. Her loyal dog, Cody.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Memory of Mary Jo Speegle.
