Morgan Amber Shirley

Morgan is preceded in death by her mother Jodie Smith; grandfather Bobby McGriff; uncle Anthony McGriff; and son Easton Lee Shirley. She is survived by her husband Austin Shirley; daughters Ashlynn Shirley and Brynlee Shirley; father Shane Smith; brother Colton (Kennedy) Smith; grandmother June McGriff; grandparents Sheila (Steve) Cahela and Vick (Wendy) Smith; nephew Carson Smith; and brother-in-law, Kaleb Sivils.

Morgan will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and daughter. Her two girls were her whole world, and she stayed very close with her family. She loved coaching her daughters’ volleyball teams and it was of great importance to her.

Morgan was incredibly creative, she enjoyed doing nails/makeup, was a great decorator, and loved music- Alice In Chains was her favorite band. She loved the outdoors (especially the many weekends spent in Guntersville), the beach and the mountains. Morgan was truly a free spirit and was loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service for Morgan will be held Saturday December 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Moss Service Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 1:00 PM until the service time at 2:00 PM. Moss Service Funeral Home Directing.
