Funeral services for Nellie Simmons, 67, of Cullman will be Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church, Bro. Frank Wood officiating assisted by Bro. Ken Dees with burial in adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until time of service. Visitation will be Monday from 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Simmons died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 27, 1945 to Dolan and Ruby Caldwell Tubbs. She worked as a cashier in the fast food industry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Chad Simmons and an infant daughter.
Survivors include her husband, Hoyt Simmons; a son, Nicholas (Patty) Simmons; a daughter, Kristie (Huie) Keller; a brother, Glen (Dean) Tubbs; five grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel Keller, Kyle Simmons, and Brittney and Brook Hyjek
