Mrs. Obera McKenney

Mrs. McKenney is preceded in death by her parents: Robert Lee and Banie Tankersley Glenn; husband, John Alton McKenney and grandson, Dewayne Mark Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters: Carol (Jerry) Thomas and Barbara Jones; grandchildren: Stephanie (Jeremy) Newell, Michelle (Justin) Smith, Jerome (Christy) Thomas, Joel (Kellie) Thomas and Dusty (Courtney) Thomas; 14 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sisters: Eva Phillips, Ola Jean Wright, Tressie “Tiny” Wright and Patricia Abercrombie and sister-in-law, Ruby Glenn.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 10:00 until 11:00 at Moss Service Funeral Home with the Celebration of Life for Mrs. Obera G. McKenney beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Duck River Cemetery.
