Rev. Story was the District Superintendent of the North Alabama District of the Church of the Nazarene. Previously he had pastored for the Church of the Nazarene in East Gadsden, AL.; Cullman, AL.; Gallatin, TN; and Jasper, AL. Greg earned his Bachelor’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene University. He continued his education receiving a Masters of Theology Degree and ultimately an Honorary Doctorate.
Greg is survived by his wife, Charity Story; daughter, Brooke (Matt) White; son, Blake Story; grandsons: Garner White, Hollis White and Paxton Story; father, Gilman Story; brother, Geron (Sandy) Story; niece, Ashton Story and nephew, Brock Story.
The family will receive friends at Cullman First Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM. until the Celebration of Rev. Story’s life which will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Cullman City Cemetery.
