Rocky was one of my best buds in high school!! Miss him dearly!! 🙏

I enjoyed working with Rocky at Walmart.  He was a Great Man with an awesome personality which will stay with me.  

Rocky was our Pepsi man when I worked at Save- A - Lot and Tiffany works at the same nursing home as I do now.He was always excited to tell me bout the grandkids and the twins- couldn't hardly wait.Will miss seeing him when I would go in at Warehouse on way to work.He was always waiting for a chance to go eat with the grandkids and he would tell me they would call him and tell him that they were going out to eat.So sorry to hear he has passed.Thinking of the family and praying for all of ya'll.

I first met Rocky when I worked at DG. He always had the biggest smile on his face and was always ready  to carry on a conversation with everyone he met. He definitely never met a stranger and I can without a doubt say he made a major impact on everyone's life that he met.  His words of wisdom and stories are something that I will miss so much. He was the most postive person I ever met. I was blessed to have known him.My condolences to his family my prayers go out to you all. Rest easy rocky you will be missed something fierce.

I first met Rocky while I was working at Walmart in receiving.  I got to spend a lot of time talking with him. He was truly a wonderful person. He certainly let you know how much he loved his family.  I got to see first hand the great relationship he had with his son Terry who worked at the store. He was happy to tell me how proud he was of him.  You were always there for me when I needed anything Rocky. I love you buddy. 

I met Rocky when I worked for the Walmart store on Olive Street about ten years ago. He was always kind to me and I gladly called him a friend. I will miss him dearly and wish I had gotten to hang out with him more. Rest well, my old friend.

I met Rocky when I started working at Wal-Mart and he had known my brother Eddie for years. He always had a laugh and a smile and made me laugh every time I saw him.  I stopped working 2yrs ago but when I came in to the store he would always say hi and ask how I was doing and always had a laugh and a smile. I will truly miss him.

So very sad to hear about Rocky’s passing. I have so many fond memories of him from my teenage years going to school at Cold Springs. Rocky was probably one of the first sports heroes that I can remember having growing up as I was a couple of years behind him in school. In the 80’s and 90’s everyone wanted to be like Mike (Michael Jordan), but in the late 70’s, I wanted to be like Rocky. During the 1977-78 basketball season at Cold Springs Rocky was my ride home from basketball practice everyday. He would drop me off at the Country Mall where my mama would pick me up. Had he not volunteered to give me a ride that year, I would not have been able to be a part of the varsity B team basketball squad that eventually won the Cullman county championship that year, the same year that Rocky and the varsity A team also were Champs. After high school I had the pleasure of being a teammate of Rocky’s in some independent league basketball tournaments. It was a great thrill to share the court with Rocky in actual competition. 
A couple years ago I took a part time job on the weekends and would stop off at Walmart after my shift was over and sometimes get to stop and speak with Rocky while he was making his deliveries. I’m sure going to miss that. What a great person and a great friend he truly was. My deepest sympathy goes out to Darlene, Rocky’s children, grandchildren, and the entire Campbell family. My five high school friends and I took Rocky as our “Big Brother” and we were his fan club as he was a very good ball player.  We always knew he had our back and would protect us.
Those high school bonds never leave us and I will always remember him and his  smile.

I am sure going to miss you. I know since time has passed, I no longer see you at the field or at the gym. I see you in town working or on your way home. It's crazy I literally just saw you weeks ago, and you had told me that you were getting ready to retire hopefully soon to spend time with family. I appreciate you and your family. You guys always were of such encouragement to me during my high school years. Rocky you always spoke to me and had words of wisdom for a young athlete. Little did I know those words of wisdom were words I could use for life. I learned a lot. I appreciate you, and you will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with the Campbell family.

Rocky and his entire family have been a huge part of the Freeman family our entire lives. Rocky was my bus driver when I was a football coach at Cold Springs. He was a wonderful man and a faithful friend. I loved him and loved being with him. I’ve been gone from my community for about 8-9 yrs now and have lost touch but what I remember about him is that he was tough, dependable, and he loved his family. He was my friend and I am devastated. My prayers go out to Darlene, his children, his brothers, and all those beautiful grandkids. I’m sorry for your loss and I feel it too. I truly loved Rocky and regret not seeing him before he passed. Such a wonderful man and a wonderful family. Unfair to lose him to this. I will always remember our conversations and I am dying inside that I haven’t seen him in a while.  I’m praying for the Campbell Family!!

To the FAMILY so sorry for your loss BUT as you  know Rocky was a WINNER and he has won again in HEAVEN I will surely miss him even though we didn’t see each other everyday I had the honor to play ball with him great player but also a great encourager and a great friend (not just to me but everyone with that big smile) last and I will shut up Rocky was my brother a lot of blood sweat and tears but as everyone who new him new he was a GREAT MAN it’s not goodbye I’ll see ya again you just beat me home 

Melissa and I spent a lot of time with Rocky and Max in our junior high years.
We rode hills and hollers in his dads old truck I think and just had a blast.  We were young but he always took care of us. We will all miss him but will see him again some day! I’m so sorry that this has happened but Rest In Peace my special friend !!

He was a loving man, loved to aggravate everyone and make them laugh..  Never a dull moment when he was around, my son just loved him... Really enjoyed seeing him in walmart doing his job as a Pepsi man, and talking to him at our family reunions RIP Cousin Rocky Love You ❤

Rocky Campbell was a special person to the Freeman family. 
Our kids have a lot of great stories about their good times together.  Rocky always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.

My wife and I would like to express our deepest sympathy  for your family in the loss of your loved one.  I became acqainted with Rocky about 20 years thru Nicholson File that he serviced for several years. Rocky was always someone with a smile and loved to aggravate with a comment,  and at the same time take one as well, After my retirement our friendship continued occasionally running into him at WalMart.

My wife will miss his smile and his humor.

Darlene and family Bryan and I were very sorry to hear of Rocky’s passing. He was a genuine man and he will be missed. I’ll miss getting that side hug at Walmart from the Pepsi man. Please know that you are all in ours prayers.

Doyle and Collene Campbell, what a beautiful, loving, and kind couple.  In 1960 I was staying with Doyle, Clayborn, Dwight, and Mickey.  Collene  had gone to the hospital to give birth.  They brought home this beautiful little baby boy.  Collene said she wanted me to name him.  I was barley in my teens and had a crush on Rocky Terry who worked for Moss Service, I loved his name.  I gave that name to Rocky Terry Campbell.  I always felt a special connection to him.  Later Rocky Terry and I became friends, he married Mary and had two daughters.  He was aware Rocky Terry Campbell had his name. 
Family,  I share your grief, my heart is broken also.  The Peace I find is knowing  our Rocky is reunited with your wonderful loved one gone before.  May God be with you and continue to bind you together with Love.  Please accept my sincere condolences as you deal with this sad emptiness.

I was so saddened to learn of Rocky’s passing.  I remember him when he was young and all the local boys would gather to play sports at his parents.  Though it has been years since I have been around him, if he is as kind and generous as his parents I know he was a kind and thoughtful person who will be missed.
