Mrs. Ruby Calvert Swann Morgan

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Calvert Morgan, age 89, formerly of Gilleyville Subdivision Hanceville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Parker & Rev. James Parker officiating.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Cullman on March 12, 1925 to the late Bert & Ollie Stricklin Swann. She passed away at Hanceville Nursing & Rehab on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Ruby was born in the Brushy Pond area & lived her whole life in the Cullman area. She was a supervisor at Cullman Lingerie for 35 years and a longtime member of 4th Street church of Christ

He is preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Arnold Calvert & Jackie Morgan; and two sisters & two brothers.

Survivors include her 3 – Daughters – Glenda (Dan) Yeager, Marcy (Paul) Manning & Pat (Frankie) Freeman; 3 – Step-Children – Jimmy (Doris) Morgan, Jeff Morgan & Sandy (Dewayne) Waters; 3 – Sisters – Odessa (Hershel) Cosper, Ilavee (Emery) Waters &Shirley (Frank) Pittman; a Brother – Maylon Swann and a Host Of Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
