Sarah Jo Schaffer

A loving wife and mother and friend to all, Sarah Jo Schaffer was born on August 17, 1937 to John Robert and Cora Ellen Cammon. She departed this life on November 16, 2017. Jo was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was also very active in T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and in the Berlin Sunshine Club.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bernard, Irvil, and Kenneth Cammon and sisters Francis Boyd, Polly Turner, and Atheline Moody.

She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert L. Schaffer, a daughter, Karen A. (Philip) Presto, and a son, John H. Schaffer and special friend Elena Voronenkova, two grandsons, Christopher (Cynthia) Presto and Johnathon Presto, three great-grandsons Luke, Austin, and Walker Bailey, brother Eugene (Michele) Cammon, sister Geraldine (Destes) Holloway and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, at Sacred Heart Church at 7:15 pm with a Rosary at 8:30. The funeral mass will be at the Church on Monday, November 20, at 10:00 am.
