Funeral Services for Susan Genise Thomas, age 54 of Blountsville, will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Morgan County, with Pastor Aaron Dawson officiating.

Susan passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Cullman Regional. She was born in Birmingham on November 26, 1956.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Moore and Dorothy Deana-Fay Cheatham; step-father, Lamar Williams and one grandchild, Angel Allen Brown.
Survivors include her – 3 – Daughters – Lijah (David) Busby, Sovonna (Casey) Brown and Misty (Jason) Thomas; 4 – Sisters – Julia Cantrell, Cathy (Paul) Brunker, Lisa (Jeff) Whalen and Gina Bowman; 2 – Brothers – Charlie Moore and Steve (Peggy) Moore; 4 – Granddaughters – Ashley Bryant, Emmi Busby, Katelyn Brown and Hailee Moore; 4 – Grandsons – Blake King, David Busby, Luke Brown and Levi Brown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
