Mr. Tony Lee West

Funeral Services for Mr. Tony Lee West, age 70 of Trimble, will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at New Hope # 2 Cemetery, with Rev. Vernon Willis, Rev. Jason Hancock and Rev. Larry Brown officiating.

Mr. West passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. He was born on December 31, 1940 to the late Hulon West and Vergie Wright West. Tony had lived in the Trimble area over 40 years, worked at Cullman Products for 35 years and was a retired Staff Sergeant with 20 years’ service in the Alabama National Guard in the Hanceville Unit. He along with his wife, enjoyed travel and camping all across America. But one of his greatest loves was to be at any of his grandkids ball games. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Faye West.

Survivors include his Wife of 48 Years – Joyce Eddy West; three Sons – David (Karen) West, Keith (Leanna) West and Patrick (Tammy) West; eleven Grandchildren – Rachel, Sarah, Jesse, Eli Chet, Nolan, Kristyn (Jason) Pair, Lauren Landrum, Hayden, Bailey and Toni West; three Brothers – Junior (Betty) West, Kenneth (Diana) West and Archie West.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The family request donations are made In-Lieu-of-Flowers to Logan Baptist Church.
