Ms. Vicki Renee Phillips

Funeral Services for Ms. Vicki Renee Phillips, age 44 of Cullman, will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Donny Yarbrough officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Trimble.

Ms. Phillips passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 13, 1967 in Groton, Connecticut to Franklin D. Phillips, Sr. and Dorothy Dill McGukin Phillips. She is preceded in death by her father. Vicki was a client at the CCCDD for over twenty years. Playing baseball at the “Miracle Field” was a favorite pastime, she enjoyed the talent shows at CCCDD and was known to dress as Elvis; and had the nick name of “Rosco P. Coltrane” to family and friends.

Survivors include her Mother – Dorothy McGukin Phillips of Cullman; one Sister – Cindy Michelle Phillips of Mobile; one Brother – Lt. Col. Franklin (Cheryl) Phillips, Jr. of Tampa, FL and one Nephew – Tommy Phillips of Cullman; two 2 – Aunts – Edna Henry and Ruby Bahr; and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu-of-flowers, the family ask donations be made in Vicki’s name to CCCDD 1807 Beech Avenue, S.E. Cullman, AL 35055.
