

Ann M. Kroenert, 84, of Culpeper, VA passed away at her residence Sunday, June 22, 2014. Ann was born on November 1, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to Matthew Haller and Madeline Schumm Haller. Ann was a devoted member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, especially with the C.C.D. program and Rosary Altar Society. She was an active member of the community, volunteering her time at St. Stephens Food Closet of Culpeper, Hospice of the Rapidan, Culpeper County Library and Culpeper County Public Schools, especially AG Richardson and Sycamore Park. . She is predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Kroenert.
Mrs. Kroenert is survived by her children, Diane Verdino and her husband, Carmine of Culpeper, Geralyn Ryerson and her husband, Jim of Hockessin, DE, Barbara Popp of Congers, NY, John Kroenert of Piermont, NY, Maureen Karmondy and her husband, John of Wilmington, DE, Lorraine LaRosa and her husband, Mike of Culpeper and Veronica Kroenert and her husband Sylvester John of Bayside, NY. She was loving grandmother to her 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Resurrection will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Precious Blood Catholic Church, celebrated by Father Anselme Malonda-Nkuanga. Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery..
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clore English Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to St. Stephens Food Closet, 115 N. East Street, Culpeper, VA 22701.
