RIP Barry!  Thoughts and Prayers for the Edwards family!  Barry was the sweetest kind man and was a great plumber.  I called on him many times over the years and he was right here to help.  Always  a smile and a hug!!

I don't even know where to begin.  My heart is literally broken.  As are so many others.  In this world there are so many people but Barry is the one that made such an impact on so many people.  Yes, there were many good time and bad things that surrounded him at times. But I can honestly say he made such an impact on my life and others forever. I will miss him dearly.  Thank you Barry for giving me the best thing in my life!!! Our beautiful daughter "Paige". Your legacy will live on with her beautiful infectious smile, moody traits, goofy laugh , good and bad attitude (lol)...Yes all that's from you... not me...lol . I'll never forget the day I gave birth to her, you were in the delivery room and as she was coming...you passed out and the nurses had to take you out on the gurney.  I thought maybe u were just looking for attention from the nurses  (some of you know what I'm talking about...hahaha) . When you were just in Charlottesville hospital last time and very ill. You begged me to smuggle you in some oceanspray grape juice...lol and I did until we got bussted. You were an amazing love of my life, and best friend.  I will never forget you. I love you and will always be thankful for the best years of my life were spent with you in my life.Thank you for making your family apart of my life and bringing me so much joy. My prayers are with all of them..No more suffering,  no more pain. Until we me again my love. Love you always and forever.

My condolences to the Edwards family.  I have many fond memories of Barry and his family growing up.  He helped my parents when they were building their home in Reva.  Sometimes, when  the work was done the adults were like big kids and played “kick the can” with the kids.  
Barry always had a grin on his face.  He will be missed.  

My deepest sympathy to all of Barry family, Barry was a great guy, always wearing a smile, I always stop by the store and Barry would always be there helping his mom, I know Barry will surely be miss by all who knew him.

My sincere condolences go out to the family of Barry. He was a great person and a great friend. Whenever you called he would be  there as soon as possible. He will greatly missed. RIP

Barry was such a great person that you were always able to depend on when having any issues in your home.  My dad has called as early as 4:00 a.m. and Barry would be there first thing in the morning.  He was excellent at his trade.  I will miss being able to reach out and get his help.  May his family feel God's presence as they go through this time of grief.

Barry was 100% himself. He had a way of making someone feel so special no matter their age. His hugs, laughter, smile, keen wit, opinions on any and every subject or topic, will honestly be missed. He always did his absolute best as a father, husband, friend, and worker. He was selfless and put everyone around him first. He did his best work at every job. He took me on so many trips, even to places he hated and he would still do things with me that he hated doing. He was a father figure to family friends’ kids who didn’t have the best father or just deserved an extra dad in their life. I love you dad, rest easy. I love you to the moon and back. there's so much I could say about this man, so many good things he's done for me and my family, so many memories I wish to replay one last time. he was like a grandfather to me, my second home. I trusted him like no other. he would do anything for anyone. and as his daughters best friend almost sister, I promise to keep her safe for you. I miss and love you. rest well. 

To the Edwards family...I first met you all in the '80's delivering Royal Crown products to your store. Good family and business. Remember someone parking their truck in your parking lot, while they went to work. They returned to find a "Free To Good Home" sign on the windshield! It had been placed there by Barry and John! All good humor! My sympathy and prayers to the entire Edwards family.

You never know how soon you’re going to lose someone, and for that we should take every moment we get to tell the people in our lives we love them every chance we have. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten to tell my Dad that I’ve loved him. But I know he knows. 

Luckily I got my good looks from my mom, but I certainly did get my brains from my dad. (Even though I will say my dad was a very handsome man!) Thank you for making me the smart girl I am today. Even though there’s not a boat load of memories we have together I will hold and cherish the ones we do have. I’ll never forget how big your eyes would light up every time you would see me. Telling me I look just like my mother. I’ll miss your southern twang, and your warming smile, and your big red work truck. I lost you too soon. But I hope you’re riding the sexiest Harley Davidson into the most beautiful sunset up there with an umbrella in your cocktail.

Though I only knew Barry a short 3 years, it quickly became obvious why he was so liked by so many.  Barry was a selfless  and incredibly  humble man.   His smile was contagious, his hugs would make any day a better day.  I will miss him dearly.  Please know my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Edwards family and I ask that God wrap His arms around them and bring them comfort in this time.  

Barry was a good friend and a good hearted person. Any time he saw me he would say "Leonard whatcha doing boy?" 

We talked about family, life, politics and everything in between.

One thing I noticed the most was he loved his momma, there was nothing he wouldn't do for her.   Mrs. Edwards has become much like an adopted grandmother to me.   

I'm gonna miss you friend but I know your in heaven in peace love you friend.
