Beatrice Brown "Bea" Gulas

Beatrice Brown “Bea” Gulas, age 91, of Culpeper, VA, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. Bea was born February 17, 1921, to John and Jane Brown; was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church; loved her family, flowers, gardening, sewing and her faith. She truly lived by the Serenity Prayer.

Surviving Bea are her children; Sheila G. Hoffman and her husband Clyde of Brightwood, Faye G. Jenkins and her husband Jesse, Jr. of Culpeper, George David Gulas and his wife Jane of Ashland, Joseph Mark and his significant other Karen Walton of Etlan, John Stephen Gulas and his wife Donna of Cary, NC, sister, Virginia Kincer of Culpeper, eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great,great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, her husband, George K. Gulas, grandchild, Andy Hoffman, siblings; Marie Smith, Margaret Kilby, Lula Wood, Mary Lee Southard, Netus Henry, Edward Price, John Dickerson, Benjamin Taylor, William Price, Carroll Humphries and Raymond Eugene precede her in death.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Clore-English Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial held Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Culpeper with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
